I'm A Woman!
What's it about?
This is the first solo I put together and boy was it nerve wracking! What did I want to say as my first time alone on the stage??
It didn't take me long to know exactly what that would be. I wanted to share how cabaret and burlesque gave an outlet to deal with the day to day machoism I encounter both at work but also in my private life.
'I'm a woman' starts off with various recordings of real comments I have heard when suddenly the music comes in and all those comments just fade away into nothingness!
It's a powerful, fun and positive act which I love performing!
